It's my vision of what health and fitness should look like.I had practiced in gyms and yoga studios, but always felt that there a level of intimacy missing that came with building a community of people. Gyms always felt impersonal and intimidating and studios were somehow too exclusive. “I always felt like I didn’t have a tribe where I belonged. I felt like there was a disconnection and friends can be hard to make as we get older. It was exhausting and isolating me from where I truly wanted to be. Then, an opportunity came along to set out on my own and I just knew that I was meant to be on that path.Mantra Active offers an inclusive environment, full of laughter (and sweat…) that makes you want to come back – the exercise part is less daunting when you’re surrounded by members just like you. We know this because we work with real bodies and real people, who have struggled with anything from addictions to weight loss to losing motivation – and we help them to get back their health and wellbeing.

I grew up playing competitive softball and volleyball and have since gone on to complete various half marathons, triathlons and even an Ironman 70.3 (although these days I’ve swapped my intense training schedule for a more laid back approach to fitness).I currently work as an in-person & virtual personal trainer, health coach & group fitness instructor. I’ve appeared as a fitness expert on shows such as Access Hollywood, New York Live, & E!, as well as in publications such as The Huffington Post, People Magazine, Shape, Well & Good, Thrive, NBC News and many others.In addition to my personal training certifications, I’m also an Institute of Integrative Nutrition Certified Health Coach and a registered yoga instructor.
